Construction begins on Bellaria Tower 1 Condominiums

Solmar Development Corp.'s prestigious condominium, Tower 1 of Bellaria Residences, is now under construction on the northeast corner of Jane St. and Rutherford Rd.

The cranes are on on-site and the footings are now being poured for Tower 1 of the elegant towers of Bellaria Residences.

The 20-acre condominium site by Solmar Development Corp. will soon be home to luxurious suites ranging in size from about 600 sq. ft. for a one-bedroom unit to 1,400+ sq. ft. for the breathtaking penthouses with floor-to-ceiling windows.

This condominium community is set on a convenient corner in Maple, right across the street from Vaughan Mills, with about 300 stores, salons, restaurants and a mini race track. A large supermarket and several fine restaurants are also just down the road. Hwy. 400 is a two-minute drive from the site.

Nature is the theme

Yet, with all these modern conveniences on the doorstep, nature will be the theme at Bellaria. This pristine development is set on a piece of land alive with the chirping of birds, the smell of running water, the feel of soft grass underfoot and the bright colours of wildflowers. The occasional jack rabbit scampers over paths that will soon make way for walking trails winding through the property.

All these delightful sights and sounds will be sampled by owners enjoying the 20-acre private park. Because access to the site is through Bellaria’s manned gatehouse, only residents and invited guests will be entitled to enjoy the trellises, gazebos and landscaped pathways.

Binoculars will come in handy for early-morning walks as the parkland will be home to fine-feathered creatures seldom seen in urban areas.

Red-breasted nuthatches and certain species of woodpeckers are expected to be fluttering about in the branches of the beech, birch and pine trees as they look to start a family in this green oasis at the heart of Vaughan. Other species of birds including wood warblers and thrushes will pass through these valley lands en route to their breeding grounds. Wanderers may also meet rabbits, deer and foxes.

However, Bellaria residents will not need to step outside to find a good time. The VIVA Club inside Bellaria offers residents and guests a wide selection of activities, including:

Tower Two condominiums now on sale

Tower One of Bellaria Condos opened last August and is virtually sold out. Tower Two is now selling. Prices start at $219,900.

Suites are adorned with luxurious finishes including granite countertops and stainless steel appliances in the kitchens, 5-foot soaker tubs and purchaser’s choice of 40-ounce carpet or laminate flooring.

The 16-storey building features bronze-tinted windows, meaning the exterior will maintain its golden, glistening appearance regardless of each resident’s individual selection of window coverings. Award-winning architects, Burka Varacelli, have combined this pretty glass with architectural precast walls, cupolas and barrel vaults to create an elegant exterior.

To visit the sales office, take Hwy. 400 to Rutherford Rd. Go east on Rutherford to Jane St. Turn left. On the right you will see the sales office.

The sales office is open weekends from noon to 6 p.m.; and Monday to Thursday from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. You can also visit solmar.ca or call (905) 417-8482.
